In January 2011, I took the SATs for the first time since 1982. I’ll be taking them each of the 7 times they are offered in 2011 in an attempt to get a perfect score, or at least have fun trying. If I’m lucky, I’ll inspire my kids.
Here are my first impressions (with god awful thumbnail, which hopefully will be updated sooner than the 24 hours promised by Youtube).
I met my SAT score soul sisters today.
I just learned that the T-89 does Function problems. Meanwhile I’ve been killing myself trying to do them by hand.
Have scheduled time with super smart high school senior for Power Calculator lesson.
Not for me, unfortunately. Am I alone in this? Has anyone measured?
Teenage resistance is the mother of invention. Here’s what I’ve come up with so far.
If I can learn how to master this thing, I can see hundreds of extra points on my math score.
Audrey Watters totally got what my project is all about…..which made my night.
If so, you’re score would be higher were you to take the test tomorrow.
Just spent an hour on phone w/him and almost feel like I’m cheating, it was so good. I swear to you.
Praying my brain has been fully scrubbed of all the garbage it was filled with these last 6 weeks.
SAT #3 tomorrow morning!
